Kim Fournier-Ghair B. Sc. Iridologist/Herbalist Kimbery is an experienced and confident Iridologist/Herbalist. She received her Bachelor of Science from Westbrooke University and trained vigorously in the field of Alternative Health, learning alongside some of the most renowned Iridologists in North America studying the Science and practice of Iridology. With over 40 years of experience, Kim has helped multiple generations. Kim, through looking at her clients’ eyes thoroughly with a specified microscope, light and camera, can analyze the appearance of the iris and pupil, its pigmentation and markings of the eye, which correspond to a specific reflexive point of the body. This allows her to determine historical/generational strengths and weaknesses and thus design an educational program suggesting certain lifestyle changes, herbal supplements and other means of therapy to reduce body tension and inflammation to help improve overall general health. Kims mission in life is to help you to help yourself. We at Kleinburg Wellness are privileged to have Kim join us all the way from her busy practice in Penetanguishene, to guest service the Vaughan community regularly. What is Iridology? Iridology is an alternative medicine science analyzing the iris and pupil of the eye, its pigmentation and markings, which correspond to specific reflexive points of the body- enabling the practitioner to determine historical/inherited strengths and weaknesses. During the developmental stage in utero, every organ and tissue of the body is connected via the brain and nervous system creating a form of communication between the iris and body via the optic nerve and spinal cord. This is much like the scientifically proven phenomenon of the gallbladder to shoulder reflex. When the gallbladder is inflamed or has pathological issues, there is a presentation of pain in the shoulder because they share the same nerve root/pathway in utero. An Iridologist, based on the eye’s presentation, can then suggest an educational program which may include lifestyle changes, herbal supplements and other means of therapy to help reduce inflammation and body tension to help restore balance in the body and improve overall general health.
